UNBELIEVABLE CROWDS CELEBRATED WITH
MCDONALD’S® AT ESSENCE®
It was a year like no other at the 2009 ESSENCE Music Festival. Thousands came to live it up in New Orleans from July 3-5, with music, celebrities, fun activities and more.
McDonald’s booth was the big hit of the festival, with record crowds coming to check out the sweet vibe – sweet moves, sweet sounds and more. Thousands came to cool down with a sample of McDonald’s McCafé® Iced Mocha and see some of the many celebrities and performances McDonald’s brought.
- Laurie Ann Gibson got everyone doing sweet moves with a Dance Marathon
- McDonald’s very own Mocha Men got the crowd hyped up – they danced and posed for photos with festival attendees
- Mint Condition, Joe and Kindred drew huge crowds for their live stage performances in the Sweet Chill Concert Series
- R&B singer Dwele signed autographs and did a meet and greet with fans
